A leader equipped with a tippet ring offers flawless turnover and remains lightweight, ideal for dry fly fishing. Simply attach the tippet ring to the leader using a clinch knot, then add the necessary tippet in a similar fashion. With a tippet ring, tapered leaders last longer as they're not cut each time the angler replaces the tippet. Moreover, tippet rings simplify the addition of droppers and are a superb option for European Style Nymphing and Indicator nymph fishing.
